Primary Goal of Business

A recent small business focused e-newsletter article proclaimed that “The primary focus of business is to make a profit”. At LifeSuccess.com we respectfully disagree with the author on this one. We believe that the primary focus of business, and especially small business, is to provide awesome value to all stakeholders. Start with needed products or services, empower the employees to deliver the products or services with a sense of purpose and ownership, and treat the customers with respect that is expected from the best company in the industry. Any company that follows these rules will not have to search far for profits.
