Yay Community!
We had an event last week – Building Community in Downtown Hammond
We are all about business and life community which means that we are people building relationships to make our little part of the world a special destination for work and for life. We promote cooperation with other businesses and collaboration within our facility – things that you just can’t get working solo at home, the local coffee shop, or your cubicle.
LifeSuccess.com and greenCOW are two growing businesses in Downtown Hammond. LifeSuccess.com is all about transforming, inspiring, and equipping people and small businesses. We help people understand, develop, and effectively share their talents and business offerings. greenCOW is a new coworking space designed to provide awesome collaborative (or private) work spaces for freelancers, remote workers, home workers, entrepreneurs, and aspiring entrepreneurs. We have great coffee, great work spaces, lots of plants, and a focus on healthy environment and sustainable work practices.
At our event last week, we introduced these concepts to a wonderful group of people who also want to make a difference in this world. We talked about collaboration on projects and ideas for the future. We thank the City of Hammond Redevelopment Commission, the HUB, the Hammond Development Corp., SCORE, SBDC, The Innovation Center, The Munster Chamber of Commerce, The Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce, and all other people and businesses that have been helping us with the creation of these projects.

We intend to promote local businesses such as 18th Street Brewery (an award winning microbrewery – 5 minute walk from greenCOW), EAT – an upcoming restaurant, Paul Henry’s Art Gallery, the HUB, the Innovation Center, The Towle Theater, The Blue Room Café and others as we create cooperative, collaborative, fun events.
